What click tracking does
- When a visitor clicks a FourLook tracking URL, FourLook receives the request, validates required parameters for the selected mode, records click and attribution data when accepted, and redirects the visitor to the destination URL for that mode.
Standard campaign tracking
- Standard campaign links typically use a path such as /km/{campaign_key} on a tracking domain.
- In standard campaign mode, destination selection may use campaign configuration such as offers, landing pages, rotation, rules, device targeting, or fallbacks.
Google transparent click tracking
- Strict Google transparent modes use /gads-click or a first-party GGADS bridge path.
- In those modes, the destination is the declared redirection_url only. Split, rotation, cloaking, device/geo redirects, and fallback destinations are not applied.
